Principles of Use
- The Supercomputers are intended to be made available to the faculty for high end research projects that require intense processing capabilities and large amounts of memory. Regular and periodic upgrades are anticipated to keep the systems abreast of technology evolution and user requirements.
- There are no costs for use of the supercomputers. Faculty will not be charged for access or processing time.
- Student access to the systems will occur under the sponsorship of a faculty member who agrees to work with the student and mentor their research.
- A supercomputing committee will oversee the allocation of system resources, job priorities, access and use priorities as is required to maintain the effective performance of the machine.
