The cursor should drop to the next line where you can type shell commands to run in the batch job. Lets type a few commands to run via batch:
Now to submit the job we do a CTRL-d (The Ctrl key held down while pressing d). Make sure to do the Ctrl-d on an empty line (i.e. hit Enter after the typing the last line above) We should then see a job identifier number next to marylou0.et.byu.edu. Take note of this number.
